Tina is a dedicated and compassionate pre-licensed therapist with a rich background in education and a focus on providing therapeutic support to children, adolescents, and couples. Having spent several years as a teacher, Tina has honed her skills in working primarily with 11-15-year-olds, though she also has substantial experience with younger children and high school-aged youth. She brings a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by these age groups into her therapeutic practice. She has also worked with adults of all age groups over the last two years and has experience working with domestic violence.

Tina believes in creating a strong rapport with her clients, fostering a safe and open environment where individuals feel comfortable to share and explore their thoughts and feelings without holding back. Her approach is client-centered, and she integrates humor into her sessions, making therapy an engaging and relatable experience. She is not easily offended and maintains a sex-positive stance, ensuring that all topics can be discussed freely and without judgment.
In addition to her work with children and adolescents, Tina has considerable experience in couples counseling. She helps couples navigate relationship issues, improve communication, and strengthen their emotional bonds.
Tina offers both virtual and in-person sessions, providing flexible options to meet her clients' needs. She is currently working towards obtaining her Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LaPC) certification and is open to working with clients who have Highmark and UPMC insurance.
In her free time, Tina enjoys spending quality time with her nephews, getting lost in a good book, watching movies, making lattes and coffees at home, and relaxing at home with her pets. These personal passions help her maintain a balanced and grounded perspective, which she brings into her professional practice.
